starship kaleidoscope

I've always wanted to be a spaceman
but the only way I'll get there is on the starship kaleidoscope
interstellar overdrive' taking me for a ride
traveling faster than the speed of light
going through the wormhole getting lost in the vortex
lights flashing from the event horizon


far away but always very near
where I want to be
what I want to see is so far from me
from what I want to be
but it does not matter to me
because the way I feel I feel so free
this is one trip I do want to be on

going to the mushroom land on the rocket a lollipop ship
 to the candy milkshake and Milky Way
beyond the Milky Way in an unknown galaxy
in a virtual reality
